Misty Mountains

“Were I called on to define, very briefly, the term art,
I should call it “the Reproduction of what the senses
perceive in nature through the veil of the mist
— Edgar Allan Poe

This photo is not retouched (only resized), the mist is what gives the Blue Ridge Mountains their name – and the mist was thick today. Taken in Watauga County, NC.

  1. Love those Blue Ridge Mountains!! Just Gorgeous!!

  2. Don’t you love dogs. Very cute.

  3. So peaceful and beautiful. What an amazing view.

  4. It must be very tranquil to stand and take in this view. I have not yet been to the Americas – but it is on my list.

Thank you for your good wishes. It is most appreciated.
