Today’s Flowers #4
“If you’ve never been thrilled to the very edges
of your soul by a flower in spring bloom,
maybe your soul has never been in bloom”
— Audra Foveo —
Today’s Flowers are courtesy of my neighbor’s beautiful pink dogwood tree which was loaded with blooms in April.
This is such a beautiful photo! I love pink dogwood blossoms, and the color on these is exquisite.

I am only familiar with a dogwood tree courtesy of folk like Capote and Faulkner. We do not have them here in Australia. I must admit to thinking that the flower resembles some varieties of silken flowers. I love the restraint in the colours here – compare it with the brilliance of the colouring in yesterday’s bead image.
