A Touch of Color

Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.
— Elizabeth Lawrence —

There are a lot of maple trees – red, silver, orange and yellow – around my house and lining the street. For the last three weeks, this red maple has been trying to change color. Every time the temperature rises, it changes back to mostly green. The photo below is one of my silver maples, which is also starting to turn.
